TINA LOUISE BARR is a top performer of the autoharp and is world-
acclaimed for her limitless versatility of styles on the instrument.
An innovator in her field, Tina Louise Barr performs at music festivals across
the U.S. Her repertoire reflects a multitude of musical influences, ranging
from anywhere and beyond folk, Celtic, Latin, classical, swing jazz, or rock.
From California, Tina Louise Barr is a winner of the Modesto Area Music
Association (MAMA) Award, in the “Best Americana” category. She is a
recipient of the California Bluegrass Association Award, honoring her many
years of service to the organization.
Tina has been a main performer and instructor four times both at the
Mountain Laurel Autoharp Gathering in Pennsylvania and at the former
Willamette Valley Autoharp Gathering in Oregon.
A charter staff member of the California Autoharp Gathering, Tina was
honored with the California Autoharp Gathering’s Lifetime Achievement
Award “to commemorate her extraordinary skills in performing, teaching,
and inspiring autoharp enthusiasts from all over the world”.
Tina Louise Barr was a long-time staff member of the Autoharp Quarterly,
a former music publication. She served as a host on a folk and bluegrass
radio program for many years.
