Karla Armstrong’s first autoharp was an unexpected gift from her husband, which she found propped up in the passenger seat of the family station wagon. It has been taking her wonderful places ever since, including the winners’ circle at contests, the recording studio, and to various festivals here and abroad. With full-time mothering and homeschooling behind her, she uses the autoharp extensively in the healthcare setting where she has worked for the past ten years. Karla and her husband make their home in Pennsylvania, where they enjoy family, church, and various interests such as trains, drone photography, knitting, crocheting, Bible study, and travel.
